Rhea Projects have been the managing agents for Cosy Homes in Lancashire (CHiL) since 2018, and are proud to have been awarded this contract again until 2025. A great accolade indeed.
During our tenure, we’ve successfully delivered over £20 million Local Authority Delivery (LAD) funding to residents in Lancashire.
We have also just delivered the Homes Upgrade Grants (HUG) to fuel-poor Lancashire residents who were eligible to access this government-funded grant scheme. We have helped those low-income households living in a home not heated by mains gas (including oil, coal, LPG or only electric heating) and living in a hard-to-heat home (based on your home Energy Performance Certificate (EPC)), by providing energy efficiency upgrades and low-carbon heating
We are currently delivering the Warm Homes: Local Grant scheme, launched in April 2025, the Warm Homes: Local Grant Scheme provides grants of up to £30,000 to eligible homeowners and private tenants to help cover the cost of energy-saving upgrades.
The scheme is part of the government's broader Warm Homes Plan, which aims to improve home heating efficiency and reduce carbon emissions.
Cosy Homes in Lancashire administers the funding, ensuring that upgrades are tailored to your home to maximise energy savings.
